About the Role
We are seeking a curious, analytically-minded Business Analyst to join our 3P Transportation Execution team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will own and deliver analytical and automation projects that contribute to the overall 3P Transportation and wider Amazon business goals, generating lasting efficiency gains for the organisation. You will work with large, complex datasets to identify patterns, surface opportunities, and build automated solutions that reduce manual effort across the network. Depending on business needs, you may develop analytics in areas such as Quality Management, Capacity Planning, Speed Enhancement, or Continuous Improvement across our 3P carrier network.

The role involves partnering with Program Managers and senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical deliverables. You will build collaborative relationships, scope projects autonomously, and drive outcomes through data. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and ever-changing environment, remaining calm under pressure while distilling complexity into clear insights. You will actively seek to invent and simplify, with a bias for action to deliver data-driven solutions quickly. Embracing AI and automation—including agentic technologies—you will remove manual processes, generate insights at scale, and unlock new ways of working. Above all, you will work tirelessly to improve the customer experience and raise the bar on behalf of the customers we serve.

This is a London/Milan-based role within the 3P Transportation Execution organisation. The team manages relationships, volume flows, and execution of our AFN 3P carrier partners—including Postal, Parcel, and Express carriers—both domestically and cross-border. 3P Transportation Execution ensures shipments are delivered on time, first time, at the fastest speed, in the ways customers want, and at the lowest cost.

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross-functional interactions
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to executives and non-technical leaders
