Hours
Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (37.5 hours per week). Alternative working hours and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Salary
£24,784.50 per annum (£12.71 per hour), with an increase to £14.22 per hour after successfully completing 12 months. Permanent contract from day one.

About the Role
Join Jingdong Logistics, part of JD.com, as a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll gain practical experience across all areas of supply chain operations, from inventory management and order processing to warehousing and distribution. Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
• Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch products in line with company procedures.
• Support transport, warehousing and distribution activities.
• Use warehouse equipment and digital systems safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Follow health and safety, environmental, GDPR and company policies.
• Assist with stock-taking activities and identify operational issues when appropriate.

Experience
No previous logistics experience is required. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in supply chain and warehousing. Relevant qualifications or previous industry experience will be considered where applicable.

Qualifications
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to health and safety requirements. As part of the apprenticeship, you will complete the Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification delivered by Kirklees College.

Training & Development
You will receive structured on-the-job training alongside specialist learning delivered by Kirklees College. Throughout the programme, you'll develop practical skills in warehouse operations, stock management, product handling, health and safety, sustainability, communication, digital systems, and supply chain best practices.

Career Progression
Successful completion of the apprenticeship can lead to progression into a Senior Warehouse Operative role. Longer-term career opportunities include transport operations, warehouse leadership, automation and robotics, and warehouse management within Jingdong Logistics.
