Hours
Full Time – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm (37.5 hours per week). Alternative working hours and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Salary
£24,784.50 per annum (£12.71 per hour), with an increase to £14.22 per hour after successfully completing 12 months. Permanent contract from day one.

About the Role
Join Jingdong Logistics, part of JD.com, as a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to build a career in one of the world's leading global logistics businesses while gaining valuable hands-on experience and an industry-recognised qualification.

You will support day-to-day warehouse and supply chain operations, working with advanced logistics technology and learning how products move efficiently from suppliers to customers. Throughout the programme, you'll gain practical experience in inventory management, warehousing, transport, distribution, and customer service while developing the skills needed for a long-term career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse and supply chain operations.
• Assist with inventory control and stock management.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
• Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch products in line with company procedures.
• Support transport, warehousing and distribution activities.
• Operate warehouse tools, equipment and digital systems safely.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
• Follow health and safety, environmental, GDPR and company policies.
• Assist with stock-taking activities and identify operational issues when required.

Experience
No previous logistics experience is required. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in supply chain and warehousing. Any relevant qualifications or industry experience will be considered.

Qualifications
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to health and safety requirements. During the apprenticeship, you will complete the Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification delivered by Kirklees College.

Training & Development
As part of the apprenticeship, you will receive structured on-the-job training alongside classroom learning with Kirklees College. You'll develop skills in warehouse operations, inventory management, product handling, health and safety, sustainability, digital systems, communication, and operational best practices.

Career Progression
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to progress to a Senior Warehouse Operative role. Longer-term career pathways include transport operations, warehouse leadership, automation and robotics, and warehouse management within Jingdong Logistics.
