About the Role
As an Account Manager at Bedrock Learning, you will own a portfolio of school and trust customers, responsible for impact realisation, retention, renewals, and account growth. Trusted by more than 1,000 schools and multi-academy trusts, Bedrock is a whole-school platform for teaching and assessing language, knowledge, and reading comprehension across subject areas. This commercially driven role measures success by your ability to build strong relationships, retain customers, grow accounts, and drive Net Revenue Retention, while helping schools achieve meaningful outcomes with Bedrock.
You will manage accounts strategically with a high level of ownership and accountability, collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and managing a portfolio of schools and multi-academy trusts
- Building strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders including teachers, literacy leads, and senior leaders
- Leading renewal cycles to ensure high retention and minimal churn
- Identifying and delivering upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Using Bedrock’s data dashboards to demonstrate measurable user impact and guide strategic conversations
- Maintaining high standards of CRM hygiene (HubSpot) and accurate forecasting
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams
- Tracking performance and contributing ideas to improve processes and strategy
Experience
- Minimum one year’s experience in account management, customer success, or sales within a commercial, target-driven environment
- Ideally experience within EdTech or other SaaS businesses
- Experience owning customer retention and driving net revenue retention
- Experience supporting senior school leaders, MAT leaders, and classroom teachers
About you
- Strong commercial acumen with confidence in negotiation and driving revenue outcomes
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong CRM discipline (e.g. HubSpot or Salesforce)
- Able to understand and explain sophisticated solutions in customer-friendly language, both verbally and in writing
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
- Able to travel to customer schools

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
