About the Role
Join the L&Q Living Agency Contracts Team and play a vital role in supporting vulnerable people through effective housing management. This fixed term contract (up to 9 months) offers hybrid working with 20% - 40% of your contractual hours worked from the Stratford reporting office.

As an Agency Contracts & Quality Officer, you will manage contracts and monitor the performance of specialist organisations commissioned to deliver care and support to vulnerable residents. You will act as the principal point of contact for a portfolio of agencies, chair liaison meetings, and carry out scheme inspections to ensure housing and maintenance services meet quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include conducting audits to ensure compliance with contractual, health & safety, and regulatory requirements, adopting a risk management approach to contract oversight, and addressing underperformance with action plans. You will analyse statistical returns to identify trends and drive service improvements.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will build positive relationships with internal teams, agencies, and external stakeholders, working closely with property services to maintain and improve buildings in line with statutory requirements. You will also contribute to the Agency Managed Strategy by collaborating with local authorities on future supported housing needs and supporting the closure or remodelling of schemes no longer fit for purpose.

Experience
Demonstrable experience in housing management, either general needs or supported housing. Proven ability to manage contracts and monitor performance effectively.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
- Highly organised with strong analytical skills, capable of planning, prioritising, and managing multiple tasks in challenging environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to maintain accurate records and support operational excellence.
