As an AI Data Associate, you will work with diverse data types including text, speech, image, and video to deliver high-quality labelled data using provided guidelines and in-house tools. You will act as a subject matter expert for Machine Learning data workflows, creating factually and grammatically correct responses, ranking responses, and annotating various media types. Your role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to make logical decisions with ambiguous information, and the flexibility to switch between different task categories instantly. You will support daily operational deliverables such as average handling time, quality, and turnaround time for multiple task types. Additionally, you will contribute to root cause analysis, identify error patterns, suggest improvements to labeling quality, and help resolve process or operational issues. Ownership and floor support to clarify queries during execution are key aspects of this role. You will be part of a diverse team dedicated to advancing AI technology and improving Alexa’s performance in everyday situations. An inner drive, individuality, and creativity are highly valued. The team works strictly in-office Monday to Friday with regular meetings, training sessions, and Amazon events throughout the year.
Experience
An Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience is required. Proven ability to execute tasks accurately and manage complex documents is essential. Experience with project coordination or stakeholder management is a plus.
About you
Fluent in Dutch (CEFR C1+), with strong written and spoken English (CEFR C1+). You possess strong business writing skills, advanced reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving capabilities. You are detail-oriented, able to interpret and implement detailed instructions across various projects, and have proficient research skills to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources. You adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing priorities and demonstrate ownership and initiative in your work.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications, and proven capacity to leverage open-source resources effectively for research. Experience in managing stakeholder relationships and project coordination is advantageous.
