About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and motivated AI Strategist to join the Generative AI Innovation Center. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, interpersonal skills, and technological expertise in analytics, big data, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence. You will support customers in enhancing their business and operational outcomes by leveraging advanced and emerging technologies.

You will collaborate closely with customers, AWS Sales, service teams, industry teams, and Professional Services to design and implement industry-specific programs that deliver measurable business value. As a trusted advocate, you will guide customers through ideation, proof of concept, and production deployment of generative AI and machine learning solutions.

Key responsibilities include aligning technologists and business leaders to explore generative AI possibilities, driving complex sales opportunities from vision to delivery, conducting workshops to identify business value opportunities, authoring customer-facing publications, and fostering strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders. You will also evangelize AWS AI/ML solutions internally and externally, ensuring best practices and scalable program delivery.

The Generative AI Innovation Center pairs you with AWS science and strategy experts to imagine new AI applications, identify valuable use cases, and integrate generative AI into existing workflows. This program is designed for organizations seeking guidance on selecting, experimenting, and scaling generative AI use cases securely and effectively.

Experience
- Proven experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture
- Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis
- Consulting, design, and implementation of serverless distributed solutions
- Cloud-based solutions experience, preferably AWS
- Experience managing complex, large-scale customer-facing projects
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python)
- Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP)
- Experience with automation, monitoring frameworks, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
- Knowledge of systems administration (Linux/Windows), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.js, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, PHP)

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related fields
- Experience in professional or military settings demonstrating technical and project management expertise
- Demonstrated ability to connect business value to scalable, repeatable, and extensible AI/ML solutions
