As Assistant Business Manager, you will play a high-impact, highly visible role supporting the Chief of Staff (People) and the wider leadership team. Your key responsibility will be to translate priorities into execution by connecting strategy, operations, and communications to ensure the People function runs effectively.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to key leadership forums including the Executive Committee (ExCo), and play a critical role in delivering the People strategy for the firm.

Key responsibilities include:
- Executive & leadership support: assisting the Chief of Staff in driving key priorities, coordinating ExCo and senior leadership materials, and tracking actions to ensure timely delivery
- Business management & operations: supporting business planning, tracking and reporting, maintaining management information such as scorecards and dashboards, assisting with budgeting and financial tracking, and ensuring strong governance and control
- Project coordination & delivery: supporting priority projects including engagement surveys, People initiatives, and transformation programmes, coordinating inputs across teams, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
- Communications & engagement: supporting internal communications for the People function and leadership updates, shaping clear and consistent messaging, and coordinating key events, offsites, and leadership forums
- Stakeholder management: acting as a key coordination point across People, Finance, Communications and other functions, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensuring alignment across competing priorities

Requirements

Experience
- Experience in business management, project management, or chief of staff support roles
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
- Highly proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime is desirable but not essential
- No supervisory responsibilities associated with this role
