About the Role
Kurt Geiger is an inclusive, creative footwear and accessories brand inspired by the energy and diversity of London. As Assistant Buyer for Carvela, you will support the Buyer in developing seasonal product ranges and contribute to strategic seasonal planning alongside the Merchandise Team. Your role includes maintaining high standards of product quality through sample and fit checks, researching market trends and competitor activity, and proposing new product opportunities to enhance brand strength and sales performance. You will manage general correspondence with suppliers, support negotiations to achieve the best price and margin, and take appropriate action on in-season order adjustments such as repeats, cancellations, and rescheduling. Additionally, you will ensure smooth development processes by maintaining schedules and deadlines, communicate product changes to Wholesale, Press, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams, and manage the Buying Admin Assistant.

Experience
Proven experience as an Assistant Buyer with a passion for fashion and expertise in upcoming trends. Previous experience line managing an Admin Assistant is required.
