About the Role
As an Assistant Communications Officer, you will support both internal and external communications projects to help achieve business objectives and deliver the CPS 2030 strategy. You will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to apprentices, to ensure effective internal communication and to promote the work of the CPS to the public through various external channels.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting with communications projects, creating and designing engaging content including video editing and written materials, managing communication channels such as the intranet and e-news bulletins, gathering audience insight and evaluation data to inform campaigns, liaising with Area Communication Managers to ensure consistent branding and accessibility standards, contributing to communications and campaign planning, and supporting the organisation of corporate events including staff recognition events.

Experience
Experience in communications is required.
It is desirable, but not essential, to have experience creating content and video using design packages such as Adobe Creative Suite.
