About the Role
Islamia Primary School is seeking to appoint an ambitious and committed Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team and play an important role in the next chapter of our school. Islamia is a two-form-entry Voluntary Aided Muslim primary school with a proud history, strong Islamic ethos and diverse community. Our aspiration is to build something beautiful: a school where every child flourishes academically, spiritually and morally; where adults grow as leaders; and where our whole community is united by a culture of excellence. This is a whole-school leadership role and is not attached to one fixed area of responsibility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to support the strategic leadership, development and day-to-day management of the school. Specific leadership responsibilities will be determined by the Headteacher according to the strengths of the successful candidate and the changing priorities and needs of the school. We are looking for an excellent practitioner and developing or established leader who has high expectations for pupils and staff, is committed to continuous improvement and will actively support and promote the Islamic ethos and values of the school.
