By joining our pensions administration department, you will be part of a team of committed professionals dedicated to providing the best possible service to clients. Each day involves working on a variety of client cases, offering a diverse workload. As you develop, you will take on more responsibility for your clients, gaining a real sense of client ownership and individual growth as you deepen your knowledge of pensions. Your key responsibilities will include benefit calculations (manual, proforma, and system-based), working through relevant checklists and procedures, ensuring appropriate authorisation before releasing information, preparing bulk mailings such as annual newsletters and pension increases, and communicating with members and third parties. You will gain and apply knowledge of clients through day-to-day work, liaising with colleagues and partners, and referring to scheme administration guides. You will also ensure compliance with LCP procedures, keep up to date with legislative changes, understand preservation, statutory increases, contracting-out (including GMPs), and the current pensions tax regime. Additional duties include drafting non-standard letters, recognising non-standard cases, and applying General Data Protection Regulations at all times.

Experience
- Experience with administering Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes
- Working towards or undertaking relevant training courses and exams to gain the Award in Pensions Essentials (APE) and the Certificate in Pensions Calculations (CPC)
