HMP Belmarsh, Western Way, London. HMP Belmarsh is a maximum security prison for males with a capacity of 773 inmates. The site offers good transport links and free parking.

Hours
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 with potential for some flexibility.

Salary
Up to £36,151 per annum, full time.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Mental Health Team at HMP Belmarsh. This fast-paced role is based within a secure forensic environment and requires flexibility and resilience. You will be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to the lives of inmates. The role includes a bespoke induction, including the Introducing Health in Justice training course, and ongoing support through a competency framework, regional and national career development opportunities, and access to a bespoke Learning Management System tailored to your learning needs. You will receive support from the wider team to help you succeed in this challenging and rewarding position. Experience
At least 1 year of paid experience as an Assistant Psychologist within a forensic or secure environment is required.
