Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (potential for some flexibility)

Salary
Up to £36,151 per annum (full time)

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Mental Health Team at HMP Belmarsh. This role is based within a fast-paced, secure forensic environment requiring flexibility and resilience. You will be supporting psychological services within the prison setting, contributing to the wellbeing and rehabilitation of inmates. The role includes a bespoke induction, access to our Introducing Health in Justice training course, and ongoing support from a wider team. There are also regional and national career development opportunities and access to a bespoke Learning Management System to support your professional growth. Due to the nature of the role, employment is subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Experience
At least 1 year of paid experience as an Assistant Psychologist within a forensic or secure environment is required.

You must be flexible and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, secure prison environment. A commitment to making a difference and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and experience to meet the requirements of an Assistant Psychologist role in a forensic setting are expected. Additional vetting and security clearance will be required due to the nature of the role.
