About the Role
The AWS Data Centre Supply Solutions team is seeking a Strategy & Acquisitions Associate to collaborate with various stakeholder groups to procure data centre capacity, support long-term scaling strategies for AWS's data centre regions, and manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure agreements. In this role, you will manage all aspects of transaction deal flow related to data centre projects, including both colocation and real estate. You will support the development and execution of contractual agreements, assist in business case development for investments, and help track and present long-term strategies.
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring continuous access to innovation for customers worldwide. You will join a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers, collaborating across AWS to deliver the highest standards of safety, security, and cost efficiency. Key responsibilities include preparing transaction business cases, forecasting project costs, assisting with site selection and strategy development, managing stakeholder engagement across operations, legal, finance, treasury, tax, and risk assessment, supporting contract development and execution, ensuring data integrity in supply planning systems, managing transaction deal flow, and effectively communicating deal status and requirements to internal and external partners.
Experience
- Commercial real estate or lease administration experience within industrial, commercial, and/or data centre environments
- Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships
- Proficient English-language communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management, real estate, or a related field
- Preferred: Fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian
- Experience with analytical tools and the ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting is advantageous
