About the Role
Join Paramount Technical Solutions Ltd as an Associate Counsel within the Consumer Products ('CP') and Experiences Business & Legal Affairs ('BALA') team. This key role supports a fast, efficient, and consistent turnaround of all deals while delivering a high level of professional legal service to the business. You will manage, draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal correspondence across multiple business groups including merchandise, publishing, digital, promotions, events, and experiences across several countries and regions. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external agents, and licensees. You will support disputes, litigation, debt collection, counterfeit issues, and intellectual property matters. Additionally, you will keep contract templates current, create new templates for VP review, and partner on product safety and quality compliance. You will lead rights checks, support clearances, conduct legal research and due diligence, and assist senior leadership on special projects. Mentoring Junior Contracts Managers is also part of the role. Experience
1-3 years PQE as a solicitor. In-house experience preferred but applicants from private practice with client-facing caseload management are welcome. Experience working across multiple countries and regions is a plus. Strong understanding of Intellectual Property Law across multiple jurisdictions and knowledge of EU Competition Law. Proven ability to draft and negotiate a variety of contracts independently. Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to provide clear advice and solutions to business teams.

Qualifications
Qualified solicitor with 1-3 years post-qualification experience. Strong legal research, judgment, and analytical skills. Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
