About the Role
EMEA Solutions Structuring (ESS) is responsible for developing BlackRock's outsourcing and solutions proposition as well as structuring and implementing solution partnerships with retail and institutional DC clients across EMEA. This is a strategic priority for BlackRock globally, with rapid growth in the EMEA business. The team leads "Deal Teams" throughout the sales process and implementation, partnering closely with businesses across the firm to deliver consistent, robust, and innovative solutions that address client needs leveraging BlackRock's capabilities.

This associate-level role focuses on the implementation component of deals, including leading recurring meetings, managing specific project workstreams, addressing client inquiries proactively, navigating internal stakeholders to track milestones, and identifying process improvements. The role offers exposure to some of BlackRock's most strategic, complex, and high-value client opportunities, allowing development of a broad skillset and varied experience with different partner teams.

Key responsibilities include working closely with business development leads throughout the sales process, especially on non-standard scopes; articulating the implementation approach and team capabilities; building strong client relationships and understanding their objectives, people, processes, platforms, and technologies; maintaining deep knowledge of BlackRock’s platform across investments, technology, operations, and thought leadership; acting as a credible entry point for clients; representing client needs internally with empathy; developing technical knowledge of the outsourcing market; building a strong internal network to deliver commercial outcomes; keeping the team updated on pipeline status; managing internal governance processes; and overseeing project planning and execution through business analysis, requirements gathering, deliverable mapping, and roadblock navigation.

This role requires a creative, solution-oriented mindset focused on delivering the best outcomes for clients and BlackRock, with accountability for multiple opportunities simultaneously.

Our Hybrid Work Model
BlackRock's hybrid work model supports collaboration and apprenticeship while offering flexibility. Employees are required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the option to work from home 1 day a week. Some groups may require more office presence depending on role responsibilities. Experience
- Project management experience including analysis, design, planning, and execution
- Key domain knowledge in asset management, business analysis, and product
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, potentially from backgrounds such as product development, technical sales, law, consultancy, or business transformation functions
