About the Role
Join the Aladdin Product Group, Alternatives department at BlackRock as a Full Stack Developer to help grow and expand our Software Engineering team. You will contribute to the development of our private market platform, eFront Invest, a leading end-to-end software solution for Alternative Investment players. Fully integrated within the Aladdin eFront Engineering Team, you will engage with both technical and functional layers of innovative products, gaining expertise in the fast-growing Private Equity and Alternative Investments industries. This role offers the opportunity to work in an international and diverse environment with a strong focus on technical innovation.

You will be responsible for building new features from conception through deployment, managing aspects of a SaaS product including production monitoring and incident resolution on cloud platforms. You will integrate your work within team methodologies such as continuous integration/continuous delivery, automated testing, and standard process definitions. Collaboration with hardworking, forward-thinking colleagues who foster an outstanding innovation spirit is a key part of this role.

Requirements

Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or related software engineering field. Validated experience in software development. Ability to autonomously explore and understand existing codebases.

About you
Great analytical skills with the ability to translate requirements and user stories into efficient designs. Ability to produce effective and testable code and understand your role in unit and integrated testing. Autonomous in work organization with a proactive approach to seeking information and help. Collaborative team player passionate about technology and taking personal ownership of your work. Data-focused with attention to detail to resolve problems. Curiosity about the functional aspects of the product; basic knowledge of the finance industry is highly appreciated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in written and spoken English.

Qualifications
Relevant degree in a related field as mentioned above. Experience with the technologies and concepts listed is expected. A proactive and innovative mindset aligned with BlackRock’s culture.
