We are seeking an Associate Vice President, Growth & Development to join the Business Development team. This senior pitch leadership role is responsible for leading end-to-end new business pitches and responses, setting the overall vision for written and presented outputs, and coordinating specialist teams to deliver fully integrated responses to varied briefs.
The successful candidate will combine strategic direction, commercial judgement and calm leadership under pressure, ensuring pitch teams are aligned, motivated and focused on producing industry-leading work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading new business pitches and responses with a focus on large-scale live experience and activation opportunities
- Engaging and briefing specialist teams to secure high-quality contributions and integrate responses
- Managing pitch teams by assigning roles to sustain high performance
- Leading scope-of-work discussions alongside Operations, Resourcing and Finance leads
- Driving best-in-class pitch processes and maintaining consistent use of tools
- Keeping up to date with client expectations and market trends to ensure relevant responses
- Reporting pitch progress, issues, risks and updates to senior stakeholders
- Establishing strong chemistry across pitch teams and capability leads
- Ensuring feedback is incorporated in real time and schedules allow for rehearsals and stakeholder engagement
- Escalating issues early and maintaining clear communication with senior stakeholders
- Creating a motivating environment that enables teams to excel under pressure
Experience
- 12+ years’ experience in sports, music and entertainment marketing, brand marketing or related marketing background
- Proven experience with large-scale live experiences and activations
- Strong commercial and business development expertise with clarity of thought and direction
- Recent experience as part of a successful pitch team, confidently leading complex, high-profile responses

Qualifications
- Proficiency with Google Drive, Zoom, PowerPoint, Keynote or project management tools
