About the Role
Wifinity was founded in 2007 to solve connectivity challenges faced by armed forces living in barracks, often in remote locations, where conventional broadband was not an option. Our innovative solutions extend beyond the military to students in university accommodation, families in holiday resorts, shared housing, and retirement communities. We provide super-fast, secure, and private WiFi with flexible contracts and Pay As You Go options, removing the complexity from connectivity.

The Bid Manager will lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant bid and tender submissions, managing opportunities from qualification through to contract award. This role works cross-functionally to develop compelling, client-focused proposals aligned with commercial objectives to maximise win rates across all sectors. You will drive improvements in bid processes and collaboration between the bid team and other departments.

Key areas of focus:
Bid & Tender Management
Own the end-to-end bid process including opportunity qualification, bid strategy, timelines, resource planning, bid kick-off sessions, tender portal management, and proactive identification of new opportunities and frameworks.

Proposal Development & Content Management
Lead the creation and structuring of persuasive bid responses, shape win themes, ensure clear client messaging, review content from subject matter experts for clarity and impact, and maintain bid content libraries.

Systems, Technology and AI
Manage bid data accurately across CRM and bid management systems, promote adoption of bid tools and AI-enabled solutions, use data insights for decision-making and pipeline tracking, and identify automation opportunities.

Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all submissions meet client specifications and compliance requirements, lead quality reviews, maintain governance processes including approvals and sign-offs, and ensure commercial, legal, and regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder & Process Management
Coordinate cross-functional input, manage stakeholder relationships across Sales, Pre-Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, track progress against milestones, manage risks and dependencies, and provide regular bid status updates.

Commercial & Strategic Contribution
Support pricing and commercial activities, contribute to bid/no-bid decisions, and align bid outputs with sales and growth objectives.

Continuous Improvement
Analyse bid performance, drive process improvements, enhance templates and governance, and support the development and capability growth of junior team members.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience managing bids, proposals, or tenders within telecoms, IT services, or infrastructure environments. Strong project management skills with a track record of leading end-to-end bid processes. Experience managing multiple complex bids simultaneously under tight deadlines. Familiarity with UK public sector procurement frameworks, DPS, ITTs, RFQs is desirable. Exposure to telecoms and connectivity solutions such as WAN, LAN, WiFi, IoT, and managed services is advantageous. Experience with CRM and bid tools like Salesforce, SharePoint, and bid automation platforms is preferred. Contribution to pricing, commercial models, and bid strategy is a plus.

About you
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Strong stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams. High attention to detail with a focus on quality and compliance. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively.
