About the Role
Cadmus has a story worth telling and a market ready to hear it. We need someone to tell it consistently, credibly, and everywhere the right people are paying attention. With strong customer advocacy, a compelling body of evidence, and a sector actively rethinking assessment, the Brand & Community Manager will bring that story to life through the events we run, the content we publish, and the community we build across the people and institutions shaping higher education.
This is a hands-on, full-spectrum role. You will run events, write and produce content, and build Cadmus's presence across social and digital channels — and you will care deeply about doing all of it well. It is not a pure brand-strategy role, nor a single-channel one. It is for someone who can move seamlessly between running a roundtable, writing sharp content, and growing a community, taking genuine pride in the craft of each.
You will report to the CRO and work closely with the commercial team to turn Cadmus's reputation into reach, and reach into pipeline.
What Success Looks Like
In your first year, you will have:
- Built and run an events program that puts Cadmus in front of the right people. Conferences, hosted roundtables, webinars — all deliberate, well-executed, and worth the audience's time.
- Established a content engine that earns attention. Cadmus publishes content that higher education leaders actually read because it is genuinely useful, credible, and well-made. You have built the rhythm and quality bar that makes this consistent.
- Grown Cadmus's brand and community presence across key channels. Our social and digital presence reflects the quality of the company: active, considered, and building a reputation and community that makes the right people pay attention and supports the commercial team.
- Made marketing measurable by connecting events, content, and community efforts to reach, engagement, and pipeline contribution. Marketing is accountable to outcomes, not activity.

Requirements

Experience
5+ years in a broad marketing, brand, or community role spanning events, content, and social — ideally in B2B, EdTech, or a sector with considered, professional buyers.

About you
- A genuine all-rounder comfortable running events, writing well, and building communities.
- Strong writing skills capable of producing credible content for an intelligent, sceptical audience.
- Organised and self-directed, able to own programs end-to-end without close management.
- Committed to quality, preferring to publish genuinely good work over merely meeting schedules.
- Genuinely interested in higher education — its people, events, communities, and drivers.
- Sharp and proactive, able to identify needs and take initiative without needing detailed briefs.
- Bring a craft in events, content, brand, and community that elevates how Cadmus presents itself.
