About the Role
At Amazon, we are looking for curious individuals who think big and embrace challenges to help build the future with us. As a Brand Specialist within Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), you will gain comprehensive exposure to all areas of e-commerce at a European level. You will act as an Account Manager for our most strategic retail Vendors in UK Fresh, serving as a consultant to drive selection and promotional activities, monitor success metrics, and ensure the highest level of vendor and customer experience.
You will collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders, including Key Account Managers and Vendor Managers, to implement new ideas and processes across Amazon EU, spanning Supply Chain management, Finance, and Marketing. This role offers significant opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.
Your responsibilities will focus on four key business areas:
Core Service:
- Use analytical skills to identify opportunities for Retail Vendors and provide recommendations to improve overall business performance.
- Collaborate with Vendors to leverage Amazon programs such as Amazon Business for long-term benefits.
Availability & Operational Excellence:
- Drive supply-chain operational excellence initiatives by reducing costs, defects, lead times, and other KPIs.
- Manage and monitor stock levels in fulfilment centres using Amazon's ordering mechanisms.
Promotion & Funding:
- Recommend marketing and advertising campaigns to promote new products, increase traffic, and improve conversion.
- Plan, implement, and manage promotional activities for Amazon events such as Prime Day and Brand Weeks.
Selection & Item Data Quality (IDQ):
- Expand product selection by managing new product launches and improving discoverability.
- Identify product gaps, onboard new products, and ensure smooth ramp-up.
- Enhance the customer journey through activities such as walk-the-store sessions, competitor benchmarking, and creating enhanced content on detail pages.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing.
- Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading) with the ability to take direction in English.
About you
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Analytical skills with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
- Familiarity with basic HTML, website management, and content management systems (CMS).
- Experience working in e-commerce is highly desirable.
