The Broadcasting and Media Group ensures the UK’s broadcast and media industries serve audiences across the country. The Delivery and Strategy Hub delivers Ofcom’s broadcast licensing regime by issuing, managing, and maintaining licences for TV and radio broadcast services.
This role offers a unique opportunity to combine regulatory decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and policy development within a dynamic broadcasting landscape. You will assess applications for new licences and renewals across television and radio services, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will act as a key contact for applicants and licensees, providing clear information and building positive relationships. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic policy projects, including the Review of Broadcast Regulation, Future Licensing Priorities for radio, Community Radio Fund policy, and public consultations.
This is a Fixed Term contract ending on 30 September 2027.
Experience
- Processing applications, records, or compliance-related work accurately and to deadline
- Broad understanding of Ofcom’s regulatory responsibilities and the broadcasting sector
- Experience with Workday, SharePoint, and Salesforce is desirable
