You can select from multiple locations across London including Bexleyheath Bus Garage, Morden Wharf Road, Stockwell Bus Garage, Merton Bus Garage, Henley Road Bus Garage, New Cross Bus Garage, Peckham Bus Garage, Orpington Bus Garage, and Go-Ahead London Recruitment & Training Academy.

Hours
Monday to Sunday, working 5 out of 7 days. Shifts start and end between 4:00am and 2:00pm (to be confirmed), approximately 8 hours per day. The working week starts on a Saturday with rest days not fixed. Total 38 hours per week.

Salary
£31,500 per year plus a £500 bonus upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship Training course.

About the Role
Go-Ahead London is the leading operator and largest provider of bus passenger travel in London. This apprenticeship offers a genuine career opportunity to grow within a company that values and develops its people. Most of your apprenticeship will be spent working and learning on the job, gaining hands-on experience. Initially, you will drive a bus around London to a high standard, learn the processes and procedures required to deliver and maintain a reliable service, carry out daily pre-service and regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, and provide excellent customer service to passengers. The apprenticeship lasts 11 months and starts on Wednesday 9 September 2026. There are 100 positions available.

Qualifications
You must be 18 years or older, have held a full car (category B) driving licence for at least 6 months, and have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
