About the Role
Join Superdrug Head Office and make a real difference every day! As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the IT team and wider business to identify, develop and implement improvements to technical systems and business processes. This role requires building a strong understanding of the business and forging productive relationships with key stakeholders. You will analyse gathered information to propose solutions supported by functional and systems design specifications. You will be involved throughout development, delivery and testing phases, influencing project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include understanding and documenting business processes and workflows, identifying integration and data requirements, partnering with business users to surface requirements, and assisting in optimising project scope, benefits and risks. You will support traceability from requirements through to QA, assist in defining test plans, roll out, training and user support plans, and create or review user documentation targeted to appropriate audiences.
You will present concepts clearly using narrative, process diagrams, role and accountability diagrams, and business-focused storyboards. You will generate detailed customer-focused initiatives aligned with IT strategy, listen to customer needs, and implement ideas to improve service across online and offline platforms. Customer focus is paramount, ensuring actions delight customers and team members.
Technical responsibilities include helping your team understand the appropriate use of AI, shifting work from repetitive tasks to higher-value activities, role modelling confidence with AI, and balancing AI efficiency with human coaching, empathy, and team cohesion.
This role reports to the Business Systems Analysis Manager and RPA Product Manager and involves close collaboration with internal business project managers, sponsors, stakeholders, project teams, and external application and software suppliers.
Experience
Proven Business Analyst experience involved in large scale business transformation projects within a retail environment. Experience using structured Business Analysis methodologies for multi-million pound projects. Experience working and implementing projects in retail settings with understanding of Retail and Warehouse Management Systems and processes. Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and manage complex messages with stakeholders.

Essential: 'A' level or equivalent
Desirable: Degree level qualification
Skills & Knowledge
Strong expertise in Business Analysis and Requirements Development and Reporting. Skilled in business process mapping and analysis involving people, processes, and technology. Experience translating strategy and concepts into practical, compelling documentation. Knowledge of structured Business Analysis methodologies and best practices. Experience in Systems Analysis, Data Modelling, and/or Service Management is advantageous.
