We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in London and play an important role in driving the company’s growth. This role has a hybrid schedule and is based in our London office.
What You’ll Do
As a BDR, you’ll be at the forefront of our sales efforts, helping organizations understand the value of Mimecast’s solutions. Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting high-volume outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to identify and qualify leads
- Following up on marketing-generated leads to assess fit and potential
- Collaborating with reseller partners to uncover joint opportunities and expand reach
- Profiling target accounts, identifying decision-makers, and understanding pain points to tailor outreach
- Conducting initial needs analysis to understand requirements and assess alignment with Mimecast’s solutions
- Clearly articulating Mimecast’s value proposition to secure meetings and hand off qualified leads to Account Executives
- Maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads and accurately tracking activities in the CRM system
- Scheduling qualified meetings with appropriate sales representatives to progress opportunities
- Staying updated on industry trends, customer needs, and product developments to refine outreach strategies
- Collaborating closely with Account Executives, Marketing teams, and Channel Partners to ensure alignment and smooth lead handoff

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is £40,000 - £66,000 plus benefits. Final offers reflect role, level, location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
Experience
We value potential over experience. Motivated, curious, and eager to grow candidates will thrive in this role. Familiarity with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, and automation platforms is a plus but not required.
