About the Role
Are you passionate about making organisations work better, solving complex problems and turning insight into meaningful change? We are looking for an experienced Business Improvement Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering continuous improvement across Notting Hill Genesis.

Working as part of our Business Improvement team and reporting to the Head of Business Improvement, you will partner with senior leaders and teams across NHG to understand how we work today, identify where we can improve and turn opportunities into practical solutions that deliver measurable benefits.

You will use data, insight and recognised improvement methodologies to challenge established ways of working, simplify processes and help improve operational performance, customer experience and value for money.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys getting beneath the surface of complex organisational challenges and bringing people together to design better, more effective ways of working.

The role will support NHG's wider transformation agenda and help embed a genuine culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders across NHG to understand existing processes, identify inefficiencies and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Use data and evidence to turn complex information into clear insights, recommendations and practical actions.
- Lead the development and implementation of improvement initiatives that enhance performance, productivity and organisational effectiveness.
- Apply structured continuous improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, to help teams solve problems and deliver sustainable change.
- Understand the impact of change on colleagues and customers and ensure improvement initiatives are implemented effectively.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to bring together different perspectives and help teams identify innovative solutions.
- Develop compelling cases for change, helping senior leaders understand the benefits, costs, risks and expected outcomes of improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate improvement initiatives to ensure expected benefits are realised, adapting approaches where required.
- Work closely with Business Architects to identify opportunities within NHG's Target Operating Model and determine where business improvement can add the greatest value.
- Coach change teams and colleagues in continuous improvement tools, techniques and best practice.
- Help develop and evolve improvement methods, templates and playbooks so teams across NHG can deliver change consistently and effectively.

Requirements

Experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Significant experience (typically five years or more) shaping and delivering business improvement and continuous improvement programmes within a large, complex organisation.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements and sustainable organisational change.
- Strong analytical capability, including assessing existing processes, interpreting data and converting insight into evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience in options analysis and benefits management, balancing value, cost, risk and time-to-benefit.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of wider organisational impact of improvement decisions.
- Demonstrable experience securing senior leadership buy-in and accountability for business improvement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with credibility to work confidently with senior leaders and collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
- Strong influencing, persuasion, relationship-building, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills, including developing compelling cases for change and navigating resistance.

Qualifications
- Certification or equivalent training in relevant disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Business Analysis (BCS/IIBA) or Change Management (e.g. ADKAR).
- Additional delivery-focused qualifications such as Agile or PRINCE2 would be advantageous.
- Pending legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.

About You
- Passionate about continuous improvement and organisational change.
- Skilled at working collaboratively with diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with a practical approach to problem solving.
- Committed to embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Able to coach and support colleagues in improvement methodologies and best practices.
