About the Role
Are you passionate about making organisations work better, solving complex problems and turning insight into meaningful change? We are seeking an experienced Business Improvement Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering continuous improvement across Notting Hill Genesis. Working as part of the Business Improvement team and reporting to the Head of Business Improvement, you will partner with senior leaders and teams across NHG to understand current ways of working, identify improvement opportunities and turn these into practical solutions that deliver measurable benefits.
You will use data, insight and recognised improvement methodologies to challenge established processes, simplify workflows and enhance operational performance, customer experience and value for money. This role supports NHG's wider transformation agenda and helps embed a genuine culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies, using data to generate clear insights and recommendations, leading improvement initiatives, applying methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, facilitating workshops, developing compelling cases for change, monitoring benefits realisation, collaborating with Business Architects on the Target Operating Model, coaching teams in continuous improvement, and evolving improvement methods and playbooks.
Experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Significant experience (typically five years or more) in shaping and delivering business improvement and continuous improvement programmes within large, complex organisations.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements and sustainable organisational change.
- Strong analytical skills including process assessment, data interpretation and evidence-based recommendations.
- Experience in options analysis and benefits management, balancing value, cost, risk and time-to-benefit.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of organisational impact of improvement decisions.
- Demonstrable experience securing senior leadership buy-in and accountability.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with credibility to work confidently with senior leaders and collaborate across teams.
- Strong influencing, persuasion, relationship-building, planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills, including developing compelling cases for change and managing resistance.
- Certification or equivalent training in relevant disciplines such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Business Analysis (BCS/IIBA) or Change Management (e.g. ADKAR).
- Additional delivery-focused qualifications such as Agile or PRINCE2 are advantageous.

Qualifications
