About the Role
The Business Improvement Training Coordinator is responsible for delivering effective digital systems training, supporting users and contributing to business improvement activities across Adult Community Mental Health Services. This role involves delivering structured group training sessions and tailored one-to-one support to staff at all levels, assessing learning needs and adapting training methods accordingly. You will develop, review and maintain training materials, user guides, e-learning resources and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as well as provide post-training support and coaching to ensure effective system adoption and compliance with agreed standards. The role also includes supporting users in the effective use of digital systems, providing advice and troubleshooting assistance, monitoring trends to identify learning needs, and promoting safe and effective use of information systems in line with Trust policies and information governance requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to digital and service improvement initiatives, support local and national digital transformation programmes, participate in audits and service improvement projects, and recommend practical solutions to enhance efficiency and user experience. The post holder will establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical teams, operational managers, information teams, IT departments and external partners, acting as a point of contact for training and system utilisation advice. Communication is key, as you will deliver clear presentations and training sessions, produce reports and guidance documents, and ensure compliance with governance, confidentiality, safeguarding, health and safety, risk management, and equality and diversity requirements. The role requires managing workload independently, travelling between Trust sites as needed, maintaining professional knowledge through continuous development, and undertaking other duties as requested by the Line Manager. The post holder is accountable to the Business and Performance Lead and contributes to delivering high-quality, efficient, digitally enabled services across Adult Community Mental Health Services.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in delivering digital systems training and user support is essential. Proven ability to assess learning needs and adapt training methods to diverse audiences. Experience in contributing to business improvement and digital transformation initiatives is desirable.

Qualifications
