Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS) is a team dedicated to unlocking the full potential of Amazon selling partners by providing in-depth strategic consultancy through a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach. As a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) within the central product team of SAS, you will empower business teams to make data-driven decisions by transforming raw data into actionable intelligence through sophisticated data products.
Your key responsibilities will include gathering and translating business requirements into scalable data products that integrate seamlessly within the overall data architecture; developing automated dashboards, reports, self-service tools, and data marts; supporting and maintaining the data environment; and assisting the business with data management and ad-hoc analysis.
Experience
- Proficient in SQL for extracting data from databases or data warehouses
- Scripting experience in Python for data processing and modeling
- Skilled in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance, or equivalent
- Preferred: Experience with AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Preferred: Familiarity with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab
