About the Role
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Unit Officer to join the Strategic Engagement & Operations team supporting the UK Financial and Professional Services (FPS) sector. In this role, you will deliver high-quality business intelligence, stakeholder insight, and engagement data to enable informed decision-making across Innovation and Growth. Working closely with the Head of Business Intelligence, you will contribute to the development of strategic insight products, stakeholder intelligence, and evaluation activities that support organisational priorities, enhance strategic engagement, and demonstrate the impact of departmental activity.

Your responsibilities will include leading or supporting the synthesis of complex and diverse data sources, developing compelling evidence-based narratives that explain the implications for the organisation’s strategic priorities, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with legal requirements, and supporting the assessment and inclusion of new audiences with particular attention to GDPR regulations.

This role operates within a hybrid workplace category, reflecting a flexible approach to workplace attendance based on role requirements.

Requirements

Experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge in developing and managing strategic relationships within the financial and professional services industry, government, or trade associations.
- Proven understanding of policy issues in relevant priority areas.
- Extensive experience leading the development and implementation of relationship management strategies.
- Extensive experience managing business programme promotion through events, marketing, public affairs, press, and PR.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively in complex policy and organisational environments.

You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of synthesising complex data into clear, actionable insights. You are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to supporting organisational priorities through evidence-based decision-making.

Qualifications
Degree-level education or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
