About the Role
The Business Support Administrator will provide high quality, professional administrative support to the business. Working closely with the Operations and Business Support teams, you will maintain administrative systems ensuring compliance with legislation and company procedures. Key responsibilities include managing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, preparing reports, booking meetings, and supporting various teams with administrative and financial tasks.
Main duties include attending weekly team meetings, answering queries from sites and calls, preparing manual and automated reports incorporating Excel and PDF documents, taking and distributing meeting minutes, and supporting internal and external customers with effective communication.
You will assist with inductions and training for new team members, use company systems such as the in-house CAFM system (Coupa) and client-facing programmes like Corrigo and Vantify. Additional responsibilities include supporting financial dispute resolution, preparing monthly and year-end reports, assisting with expenses, supporting board report preparation, helping the bid team with presentations, managing marketing stock, assisting with HR tasks such as TUPE consultations and DBS checks, and maintaining company organograms and management diagrams.
This role requires a professional, hardworking, and reliable individual who shows respect to colleagues and clients, anticipates and delivers customer needs, and supports divisional directors with ad-hoc requests. You will also take charge of new ABM systems to assist site leads and general managers.
Experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment while remaining calm under pressure.
Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience using administrative and financial systems is advantageous.
