We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Manager hosted by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will have extensive experience working as a personal assistant or providing service and project support at senior management level. You will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to take accurate formal minutes and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Main duties of the job On a day-to-day basis, the post holder will: Provide a high level of support to meetings, including taking and preparing accurate and comprehensive minutes and action logs Be responsible for extensive diary management for the Director of SEL ICS People Programme Provide administrative and coordination support to projects across the programme Raise purchase orders, receive and record invoices, arranging authorisation, payment and dealing with supplier queries Working for our organisation This role will be part of the SEL ICS People Programme hosted by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and as such, the post holder will be an employee of GSTT and expected to adhere to the Trust values and standards. For further details and to arrange an informal conversation contact [email protected] Qualifications/ Education Essential Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience Management/Secretarial or equivalent relevant training/experience Previous experience Extensive experience working as a personal assistant or providing service and project support at senior management level Experience of working in a large, multi-professional organisation Experience of working under pressure, with strict deadlines and dealing with a range of complex issues, sometimes leading to conflicting priorities e.g. national and local reporting targets, managing conflicting diary appointments at senior management level to bring about a resolution Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Management/Secretarial or equivalent relevant training/experience. Previous experience Essential criteria Extensive experience working as a personal assistant or providing service and project support at senior management level. Skills/Knowledge/Ability Essential criteria Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and work methodically, efficiently and accurately to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
