LMAX Group is seeking a C++ Applications Developer to join the quantitative risk development team. You will work alongside other developers to design and implement features focused on infrastructure, contributing to a high-performance trading system.
The role involves addressing technical challenges related to throughput and latency, requiring a strong focus on software performance while maintaining code quality and maintainability. You will produce clear, well-structured, and fully tested C++ code, focusing on low latency in critical system areas. Collaboration is key, with pair programming used to share knowledge and avoid silos. You will continuously design and implement improvements to enhance safety, performance, and usability.
Testing is integral to our development process, with extensive test suites running every 15 minutes on continuous integration systems to provide rapid feedback. You will help maintain these test frameworks to ensure high-quality code is delivered efficiently.
