About the Role

Since 2010, our trusted team has delivered compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each individual’s needs. As a Care Support Assistant, you will join a friendly and dedicated team supporting a client with complex needs. You will spend your whole shift with one person, providing focused, meaningful support without travelling between sites. You will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in delivering quality care. This role supports a gentleman with Autism Spectrum Condition with Pathological Demand Avoidance features (PDA), ADHD, Central Sensitivity Syndrome including severe sensory processing difficulties, Fibromyalgia, Sleep Disorder, Visual Snow and episodic altered visual perception, Mixed Anxiety, OCD, symptoms of Agoraphobia, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. Your responsibilities will include prompting with personal care, medication administration, meal and drink preparation, booking appointments, household tasks such as dusting and vacuuming, laundry, and scribing.

Experience
Previous experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

About you
A caring and empathetic nature with good communication skills and a genuine desire to support others. Basic IT and record-keeping skills are required. A full UK driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required. A good standard of spoken and written English is essential. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK with valid documentation for at least 12 months to ensure continuity of care. All roles are subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check and references.
