About the Role
We are seeking Casual Grassroots Scouts to join our Academy talent identification network. You will proactively attend football matches to identify young players aged 12-16 with potential to develop in the Youth Development Phase. Your role includes recording detailed information on potential players in our Academy's online database and regularly attending weekly meetings led by Phase Coordinators to provide feedback and insights. You will act as an ambassador for Arsenal Football Club, upholding our reputation and working within Premier League and EFL Youth Development rules. You will also attend CPD events relevant to Talent ID and maintain up-to-date knowledge of players within the selected phase and beyond. Safeguarding, Equality, and Health and Safety policies must be adhered to at all times.

Experience
Credible expertise with FA Talent ID Level 2 and FA Safeguarding Certificate required.

About you
- Empathetic and supportive approach, sensitive to the needs of young players, parents/guardians, and grassroots clubs.
- Competent IT skills with confidence in writing detailed reports and maintaining databases.
- Valid driving licence to travel to fixtures, events, and meetings.
- Collaborative team player with a personable and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Flexible mindset with willingness to work weekends and some evenings.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of conduct in a position of trust involving regular contact with children or vulnerable adults.
- Willingness to keep updated with Club and FA Safeguarding training and education.

Qualifications
FA Talent ID Level 2 and FA Safeguarding Certificate are mandatory.
