About the Role
We are seeking Casual Grassroots Scouts to join our Academy talent identification network on a casual basis. You will operate within designated regions to identify young players aged 9-11 with potential to develop in the Foundation Phase. Your role involves attending grassroots football matches, recording detailed information on potential players using our online club database, and providing insightful feedback during weekly meetings led by Phase Coordinators. You will act as a proud ambassador for Arsenal Football Club, upholding our reputation and working within Premier League and EFL Youth Development rules. Additionally, you will attend relevant CPD events at our Academy and remain flexible to attend matches as required. Safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies must be adhered to at all times.

Experience
FA Talent ID Level 2 qualification and FA Safeguarding Certificate required
About You
- Empathetic and supportive approach with sensitivity to the needs of young players, parents/guardians, and grassroots clubs
- Competent IT skills with confidence in writing detailed reports and maintaining databases
- Valid driving licence to travel to fixtures, events, and meetings
- Collaborative team player with a personable, enthusiastic nature and a competitive work ethic
- Flexible mindset with willingness to work weekends and some evenings
- Commitment to upholding high standards of conduct in a position of trust involving regular contact with children or vulnerable adults, including ongoing safeguarding training and education
Qualifications
FA Talent ID Level 2 and FA Safeguarding Certificate are mandatory
