About the Role
Shakespeare’s Globe is seeking a Casual Ticketing and Sales Duty Manager to provide essential weekend operational support to the Ticketing and Sales team. This role is a key leadership position within the department, ensuring the smooth running of the Box Office and ticketing operations during weekends and busy performance days. The postholder will assist customers with ticketing enquiries, resolve issues as they arise, and ensure visitors receive a welcoming and efficient service.
The Casual Ticketing and Sales Duty Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise colleagues during shifts, and act as a point of contact in the absence of the Ticketing and Sales Managers. They will also promote and sell a wide range of Globe performances, events, education activities, memberships, and visitor experiences.
This role is ideal for someone with strong box office or customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced cultural environment and is confident taking responsibility for weekend operations.
Experience
Experience in team management, supervision or leading colleagues with a strong drive to deliver a first-class operation. Box Office experience with knowledge of Tessitura or similar ticketing/data management systems is essential.
