About the Role
We are currently recruiting a driven Barista to join Defence on a full-time basis. In this role, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. You will have the opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and recognises employees who go beyond the plate. Your key responsibilities will include preparing perfectly blended drinks, serving high-quality food that delights customers, keeping the bar area clean, receiving and processing payments, maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates, and ensuring brewing equipment operates properly while reporting any maintenance needs. You will also learn about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques. Representing Defence positively and complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards as well as Health & Safety regulations are essential aspects of this role.

Experience
Previous experience in customer service is required. Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is essential.
