About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operation of catering services by ensuring food service areas are prepared, maintained, and operated to the highest standards. You will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, supporting stock management, and contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing Front of House and service areas for daily operations, ensuring they are clean, organised, and fully stocked; assisting with food and beverage service while delivering excellent customer service; accepting and checking deliveries including temperature and quality checks; monitoring stock levels, replenishing supplies, and reporting shortages or discrepancies to supervisors; maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, allergen control, and workplace safety; completing cleaning duties and ensuring all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly; accurately completing required records such as temperature logs and cleaning schedules; communicating effectively with supervisors and colleagues to support smooth day-to-day operations; supporting other catering areas and teams as required; and adapting to changing priorities and operational demands while maintaining service standards.

Experience
Previous catering, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
