About the Role
We are on the lookout for a skilled and creative Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at Town, one of London's most talked-about openings and a restaurant that has earned five-star reviews from the country's leading food critics. Since opening on Drury Lane, Town has been described as "unmissable" and awarded five stars by Grace Dent in The Guardian, and hailed as "an instant London classic" in Tom Parker Bowles' five-star review for You Magazine. The Spectator went further still, calling it "as good as food gets in London". At the helm is Stevie Parle, one of the most respected chefs of his generation and a cook known for his obsessive focus on suppliers, seasonality and produce-led cooking. This is a rare chance to learn directly within a kitchen shaped by his standards. In this role, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, taking charge of a specific section and ensuring every dish leaves the pass to the highest standard. You will work with exceptional ingredients, at pace, in a busy and ambitious kitchen — and you will have genuine scope to develop your craft under the guidance of our senior chefs. If you are ambitious, meticulous and want your next move to be somewhere your work is noticed, we would love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and cook dishes to specification, maintaining the quality standards of the restaurant. Manage your section effectively, ensuring impeccable organization, cleanliness, and stock rotation. Be comfortable working in each section of the kitchen. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold food hygiene standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-pressure kitchen environment (approx. 2+ years), with capability on the grill section. Strong knowledge of modern British cuisine and culinary techniques.
About you
Passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Ability to work well with others and lead by example in a team-oriented setting. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications stated, but relevant culinary experience and skills are essential.
