Salary: from £27,000 + £3,500 London Weighting | Location: Remote to cover the London area | Role: Chef Trainer Pining for a regular working week whilst keeping your toes in the industry you love? As a Chef Trainer, you can wave goodbye to working weekends and pass your knowledge on to a new generation of chefs. Your Role as a Chef Trainer: As a Chef Trainer, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and get to hit the road and visit different sites within your region to meet your learners face-to-face in their kitchens. Working Monday to Friday, a typical week will involve 2-3 days of travelling to see your chef apprentices. With the rest working from home; meeting apprentices online and completing administration. What You'll Do: Work with chef apprentices in their kitchens and online. Use your industry knowledge to train the next generation of chefs. Meet new apprentices and discuss their learning needs. Explain how English and maths are important in the kitchen, to support your apprentices with their Functional Skills. Attend our Chef Academy with your apprentices to support hands-on learning of various techniques. Visit employers and provide feedback on their apprentices’ skills. Develop relationships with employers in your area. Complete administrative and planning tasks, using Google Suite and internal platforms and systems. About You We’re seeking passionate chefs, looking to share their knowledge and make a meaningful impact on the culinary industry. To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following: Demonstrable experience at Head Chef, Sous Chef or Chef De Partie level[2] . Coupled with a passion for teaching. A good grasp of technology and administrative skills. Have, or be willing to work towards, a Level 2 (GCSE) qualification in English and maths. A valid Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle for travel within your region. How We'll Support You We offer a starting salary from £27,000, along with comprehensive benefits and training.
