About the Role
Do you want more local driving and to be a valued member of a delivery team? This role offers a varied driving position with Booker Group, delivering locally and building relationships with regular customers. Our drivers are the beating heart of our business, playing a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time with excellent service. Working on an "Any 5 from 7" contract, shift patterns will include some weekend working. You will be responsible for maintaining a smart and professional personal appearance, representing 'The Face of Booker' at all times. Safely driving a clean and presentable vehicle, using delivery equipment such as cages, bars, straps, and tail lifts carefully and correctly. You will assess health and safety risks during deliveries, ensure safe loading and unloading at customer premises, and adhere to company policies and GDPR guidelines. When not on the road, you will support branch functions such as keeping the vehicle clean, picking, wrapping, and loading. Overtime opportunities are available and fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

Experience
Previous Class 2 driving experience is required, with multi-drop experience preferred. Knowledge of Class 2 vehicles and safe use of delivery equipment is essential. Previous use of PDA devices is preferable.

Qualifications
Fully funded CPC training hours will be provided as part of the role. A valid Class 2 driving licence is required.
