As a Business Development Manager focused on Cloud Intelligence within AWS, you will provide sellers with insights on cloud business and sales strategies to better inform customers when choosing a Cloud Platform Service Provider. You will act as the primary liaison to AWS sales teams across EMEA, identifying and communicating cloud trends, tactics, and responses unique to specific industries. You will partner closely with AWS Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and product teams to support competitive sales engagements.
Using your experience selling public cloud to enterprise customers, you will translate business requirements into cloud outcomes, drive digital transformation at the executive level, and coach sales teams. Collaborating with Cloud Solution Architects, you will articulate the value proposition of cloud workloads. Success in this role requires leading large, complex public cloud sales opportunities, familiarity with cloud best practices, and world-class business acumen.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable competitive strategies to win key strategic deals
- Supporting, coaching, and developing large deal closing capabilities
- Serving as the go-to resource for AWS field sales segments and leadership on AWS differentiation
- Articulating the business value of AWS propositions aligned with customer strategic objectives
- Building trust and influencing C-level executives both internally and externally
- Leading strategic, in-person workshops (travel required)
- Sharing cloud adoption trends and blockers across the ecosystem
- Enabling and upskilling field teams through content development and training delivery
- Tracking market signals and identifying opportunities to improve AWS offerings
- Influencing internal stakeholders on market realities to further differentiate AWS's value

Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules

- Strong communication skills to articulate business value propositions
