About the Role
Join a high-impact Treasury team helping shape how we manage liquidity and funding across the Commercial and Investment Banking (CIB) division in the Middle East, Africa, and North Africa (MENA) region. As a Treasury Associate within CIB Treasury, you will support the development of regional liquidity reporting tools and work practices, analyze liquidity, funding, and balance sheet impacts of new business initiatives, and liaise with various stakeholders to communicate proposals and highlight risks.
You will gain exposure across the organization, obtaining a comprehensive view of CIB's activity within the region, including liquidity risk management, funding, capital markets, and hands-on involvement in various business initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing business-based management information systems (MIS) on liquidity, funding, FTP/liquidity premium, and interest rate metrics; building and maintaining regional liquidity reporting tools and supporting processes and controls; overseeing the provision of accurate and timely liquidity and funding inputs for new business initiatives; acting as a central point of contact for businesses and partners across CIB Treasury, CIB businesses, regional Treasury/Chief Investments Office (TCIO) teams, and multiple internal stakeholders; supporting ongoing monitoring of regional liquidity and funding trends and key drivers of change; and preparing clear presentations and materials for stakeholder updates and decision-making.
Experience
- Good working knowledge of Investment Bank products (Markets and Banking), financial theory, and accounting principles
- Several years of experience in treasury, liquidity risk, balance sheet management, ALM, or finance
- Strong analytical, investigative problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in funding, liquidity, and regulatory developments is preferred
- Experience participating in projects or initiatives is a plus

- Relevant educational background in finance, economics, or related fields is advantageous but not explicitly required
