About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support its expanding European Amazon Advertising business. Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce, offering advertisers innovative solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices, and DSP platforms. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join one of Amazon's fastest growing divisions, working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment with a strong mandate to experiment and innovate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial controllership, planning, and delivering analytical insights on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Key responsibilities include weekly revenue and sales reporting for various stakeholders, quarterly planning focused on Audio and Live Sports ad products, conducting deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities and risks, supporting the development of rate cards and new advertiser incentives in collaboration with pricing, sales, and product teams, and automating recurring reporting using AI.

This role is part of the Pricing & Product Finance team within the EU Ad Sales Finance group, which partners closely with sales teams across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The team supports a wide range of ad products including Prime Video Ads, Prime Video Sports, Twitch, FireTV, OLV, and Audio, with a strong focus on maximizing long-term growth through optimized planning, performance reviews, and pricing decisions.

Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- Proven ability to apply key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis preferred
- Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience creating process improvements through automation and analysis
- Advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence is a plus
