About the Role
National Savings and Investments (NS&I) is one of the largest savings organisations in the UK, with over 24 million customers and more than £240 billion invested. As part of NS&I’s Commercial Team, you will provide clear visibility of contract, supplier and supply chain risks, issues and trends across our commercial portfolio. Using your procurement, contract and supplier knowledge, you will help create and operate a practical approach to identify risks such as financial stability and other factors impacting our direct suppliers and critical supply chains. You will support visibility of performance, risk and compliance across a significant contract portfolio worth over £1.05 billion across 130+ contracts.

This role supports the Commercial Team, contract managers and senior contract owners by delivering data, reporting and insight needed to make informed commercial decisions. You will transform contract, supplier and performance information into clear management information (MI) and proportionate analysis, identifying trends, issues and risks and explaining their commercial implications. This is an opportunity to shape how NS&I monitors and responds to commercial, supplier and contract risks across a strategically important portfolio.

This is a commercial/procurement risk and insight role that uses MI and reporting as supporting tools and is not a specialist data analytics role.

Experience
- Experience in a commercial, procurement, contract management or supplier management role involving contracts or suppliers
- Sufficient commercial knowledge to assess supplier, contract and supply chain risks and recommend proportionate actions
- Experience working with contract, supplier, performance, risk or market information to produce MI, reports, dashboards, registers or insight products
- Experience identifying trends, risks or issues from data and explaining practical implications to stakeholders

About you
Strong communicator with the ability to influence and deliver at pace. You should be able to make effective decisions and see the big picture in a complex commercial environment. Enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a team and supporting senior stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications
A commercial related qualification such as CIPS or equivalent professional experience is required.
