About the Role
Join the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company, Synnovis, a scientific organisation with a clinical purpose. Working in partnership with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital, Synnovis aims to set the standard for the future of pathology.

As Communications Manager, you will provide expert communications advice and direction to leadership teams in a fast-paced environment. Your key stakeholders will include the Business Development team, the primary care team launching a borough-level engagement strategy, and clinical and operations teams managing day-to-day service delivery.

Reporting directly to the Director of Communications and Marketing, you will be part of a seven-strong communications team responsible for all SYNLAB UK&I businesses, including Synnovis. This newly created role offers the opportunity to grow and evolve, ideal for a proactive self-starter with excellent writing and campaign planning skills.

Your work will be central to supporting Synnovis’ clinical and operational goals, helping to rebuild trust and strengthen relationships across primary care, secondary care, and third-party partners. This is a pivotal role following a complex transformation programme and a significant cyberattack, making your communications critical in restoring confidence and driving engagement.

You will lead editorial oversight, message strategy, and content creation across multiple channels including clinical alerts, e-newsletters, vlogs, websites, practice visits, hub tours, CPD seminars (virtual and in-person), and Trust intranets.

Synnovis is part of SYNLAB UK&I, delivering laboratory, diagnostic and advisory services across the UK and Ireland, performing over 63 million tests annually. The role is based in a state-of-the-art 10-floor laboratory hub in London, offering a vibrant working environment close to entertainment and dining options.
