About the Role
The EMEA Compliance Surveillance team ("Surveillance") monitors and analyses sales, trading, and banking activities, including the surveillance of electronic communications (e.g. e-mail, Bloomberg) and telephone communications. The team utilises and develops electronic tools and integrative techniques to detect potential or actual violations of the Firm's policies and legal/regulatory requirements. As an Associate within the Communications Surveillance team, you will work closely with various Compliance teams and groups across the Firm. This role involves reviewing communications surveillance alerts daily across different asset classes, performing thorough reviews of communication content, researching relevant information, and engaging with business-aligned compliance teams, surveillance technology partners, and other key stakeholders. You will also carry out ad hoc reviews and searches as required. If you are driven, proactive, and have a keen interest in financial markets and trading activities, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the Firm’s compliance efforts.
Experience
Good knowledge of financial markets and products. Strong analytical and risk assessment skills with excellent attention to detail. Proven investigative instincts and experience in reviewing communications.

Qualifications
A degree or overseas equivalent is desirable but not essential. Non-English language skills are preferred but not required.
