About the Role

Connect to Work is a pioneering programme helping people with disabilities, health conditions, and complex barriers into employment to find and keep fulfilling jobs. As a Connect To Work Employment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey to employment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support: Working closely with individuals to understand their skills, interests, and career goals.
- Developing personalised action plans: Creating and implementing strategies to overcome barriers to employment, such as identifying suitable job roles, developing job search skills, and building confidence.
- Building relationships: Networking with employers, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and advocating for the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Providing ongoing support: Offering ongoing support to individuals in their new roles, including workplace adjustments and resolving any challenges they may face.
- Maintaining accurate records: Keeping detailed records of all interactions and outcomes to ensure we meet our compliance standards.
Experience
Experience in employment support or a related field is desirable but not essential.
